Here's a poem - written I believe by Elizabeth Brandreth - which expresses my feelings about the Adirondacks.
The Adirondacks
These are the mountains of my heart;
the mountains that have been to me
a special place,
a world apart,
to love as some men love the sea.
I do not ask for lofty peaks,
the mighty range,
the snow-crowned dome.
To these the heart within me speaks!
Here are my dreams,
and here my home.

Working primarily from the Authorized King James and New Living Bible versions, but also referring to online Greek and Hebrew lexicons and many other versions, as well as incorporating many years' gleanings from a variety of sources, it is my goal to create a text of the Bible that is as clear, accurate, coherent, and free from ambiguity as possible. I have uploaded present [2020] drafts of each NT book. I am sure to be editing each of them for as long as I live, to make the inspired, infallible Word of God as clear and accurate as possible to the modern English reader.
