The Adirondacks
These are the mountains of my heart;
the mountains that have been to me
a special place,
a world apart,
to love as some men love the sea.
I do not ask for lofty peaks,
the mighty range,
the snow-crowned dome.
To these the heart within me speaks!
Here are my dreams,
and here my home.
