1. POCKETKNIFE TIMBERDOODLE

A beautiful, life size, Pocketknife rendition of a beloved game bird - perhaps more commonly known as the Woodcock.  Carved from a single block of Basswood - including the beak!  Hand painted with acrylics.  Mounted on a sanded and varnished slice of Yellow Birch.

2. BABY PAINTED TURTLES

There's something about baby turtles that I find irresistible.   These adorable babies, carved in Basswood, with their feet 'tucked in', are designed to be held and enjoyed.  Numbered signed and dated.  $250 each

3.  A Painted Bunting, [see photo, below] male, life-size, unmounted.  Able to be mounted for wall or shelf.   $350

4.  Cedar Waxwing; [see photo below] a Pocketknife carving; painted with acrylics; life-size; unmounted: able to be mounted for wall or shelf.   $450

6.  "Ex-stream Treasures": pair of 12" Trout: Brook and Brown;  each carved - fins and all, a rarity - from solid pieces of basswood; mounted on unique, mirror image ("book-matched"), Adirondack driftwood bases; hand-painted with acrylics.  To be sold as a pair.   Numbered, signed and dated.       $3500

7.  Various Magnetic 'Flats'

I really enjoy painting 'flats' of birds and butterflies and have made a wide variety of them to be used as decoration as fridge magnets, velcro decor, Christmas tree ornaments, etc.  They make great gifts as they are fine, yet affordable, art treasures.  Below, you can see a few of those I have on hand.  I pay to have them laser cut, using my own patterns, then I hand wood-burn and hand-paint them with acrylics.  Each is numbered, signed and dated.  They make a very special collection.
Priced from $50-$100 each with a discount available for multiple purchases.
